Has any1 used like foliatec or other tinitng film....was it easy to do and gave a pro. effect?
a lot of peeps have said get it done professionally, and the kits are crap!?!
true?
are there any good ones, that are good quality etc.?

mate, if you want your car to look wicked and you love it to bits/look after it, then get it done professionally, I dont know how the fuck they sell them tinting kits (must be the novas/fiestas), but all the DIY tint jobs i've seen are fucking shit.
200-250 gets you professional tints all round.

if u do it urself don't use defender or savage film it rips far too easy.... the laxpower film is teh best i av used for tintin..... some places use the film just like DIY ppl do to it pro u know !! Others use a liquid/spray
For about £40 u culd do it urself.... if u aint happy u culd always pull it out and get it done properly. Wots £40 these days

i have done it on my car last week. maxpower's is the best, i also tried the other brand (forgot the name)but not good. take me ages to start the first window. total in around 1and a half hour. looks not too bad. The rear side windows are much more easy than the front ones. you could have a try mate.

Professionally is definatly the way to go, i got mine do by a pro and got 5 years gurantee. it cost me £220 but well worth it.
