cars takes ages to fire, turns over for a bit before it initialy starts, once fired it seems ok for around 30seconds, idles around 2000rpm touch the throttle every so slightly and its drops down but then feels as if it goin to choke itself, any ideas on this? was a good running engine before i removed it, any help is much appreciated

Take it all the air hoses and stuff's there mate?

Take it it's the same air flow meter and other bits like that that were fitted to the donor car?

Only other thing I'd say would be check the inlet for leaks in case it's been knocked while it's been removed/ fitted.

everythings the exact same, think its drawing air from somewhere not 100% though

tried all your hoses at back of engine icv etc?

Changed the icv yesterday to a known good one and was still the same

vacume leak could be problem, no splits in intake pipe?
