I've got a brand new corsa, and i'm changing the crap Double Din stereo for a new Stereo, i've also bought the silver adaptor plate, as my car is a Sxi, and the whole centre console is silver.

When i connect up the new head unit, and swith the HU on, will i loose the date on my MFD display? And if i will, is there any way of getting to stay on all the time, e.g. by cutting wires.

Thanks for your help.

I heard aboutt his too when I first joined CS there was a picture of one, but no idea how or where the pic went to. Obviously a clever sparky had a go.

My Sony HU has the date with CD's playing but radio gets rid of it. I know you can cut the right wire but it doesn't bother me.

Add me to that list mate! "CORSA" will do fine but I bet a good controller would be able to do all sorts of wicked stuff.
