as title thinking about early stages of a conversion here and dont want c20xe
beenlooking through warren g's 1.8conversion.
ino alreasdythe x14xe loom and immobiliser is ok on x16xe with1.6 ecu.
any help required with what bits will need changing for
A)X16XE
AND B) x18xe1

A) X16XE
You will need the X16XE ecu, transponder and chip because the engine doesnt give full power if you run it on the X14XE- when mine was converted it was running X14XE ecu with X16XE engine and it made a big difference switching to the correct ecu. All the mounts, shafts etc are the same and all the wiring should plug in- there are a couple of different gearbox speedo senders so the loom might have a different connector- both should be electric sender. You can use an X14 flywheel but use an X16 clutch and then choose between F13 or F15 gearbox- I used the F13 from the X14 and it was dead on. Pretty much everything else is identical so plolnk it in the bay and plug everything in.
B) X18XE1
Your best bet is to read Warrens how to thread as you have done
