Had my new Iphone delivered today so i fitted the sim and phoned Orange to activate it.
My old phone went off just before 1 (Screen just says inactive sim). Problem is that my new phone still says the same  Anyone know how long it takes a new sim to be activated.

If the new phone is turned on still that will be why it hasn't activated.
Switch it off for 1min and switch it back on again. Can take up to 24hrs but if the phones on it won't update

You may have to activate through itunes

up to 24 hours for any orange sim - sister got a new one through yesterday

I always found turning the phone on and off a few times sped up receipt of the sim update,
