hi all ive took my 12v badge off the back of my car but i cant completely get the black sticky stuff off that holds the badge to the car

what have people used to get it off that worked well???

hi mate i used a plastic ruler and just fiddled about with it and then after t cut it works a treat

i just rubbed mine with my finger, it rolled up and came off after a bit

Boiled kettle and poured in on. Burnt fingers but worked eventually.

You basically put it in a drill and use the edge of the wheel to take all the glue off. A lot quicker than any other method I've heard of and usually buffs the paintwork a bit as you're going so once you're finished it looks like the strips were never there. Only warning is don't put too much pressure on or keep it in the same spot for too long as it could burn through the paint but as long as you take it easy and keep it moving, you'll be done a lot quicker and without sore fingers at the end
