You need the passenger side panel off, there's a connector in there.
Take that and the rear pillar cap off and you'll see it running up there.
Otherwise it's fairly simple. Don't forget you'll need help holding it while you knock the hinge pins out.

Your need to cut and put a little connector in the rear washer pipe, Dont think there is a proper connector easy to get to.

5 torque screws and 3 pop clips on the parcel shelf support
2 torques on the plate for the adjustment of the rear seats
pop the cover off the top seatbelt bolt and remove it
pull the pancel shelf support out and unplug the light and speaker, then on the cream trim above it pop off the wee cover and remove the torque and the one at the bottom, once there off go into the car and push the wee coat hook up and loosen that torque off then go to the back and pop the first pop clip out and pull the panel towards the rear of the car(stops the mountings breaking) once thats off unplug the loom to the boot and cut the 2 cable straps, one at the bottom and the other at the top, cut the washer pipe and pop the rubber grommet off, then just remove the circlips on the pins and disconnect the lifters then support the tailgate and tape the pins out and its job done
removing the looms simple but refitting it can be tricky, get a piece of wire or shoe lace and feed it through the hole that the terminal and wire from the heated rear window go through and feed it down till you get it at the grommet for the wiring in the tailgate as without doing this its a cunt to get the wire back in without really fucking about
