If you let a complete novice with good intentions at a car with instructions how to strip the head they'll still struggle with certain aspects of the work (not talking about the op here btw). I'd say you'd need someone there to at least point out what needs done, if not lend a hand too.

Yeah alan that would make me feel alot more comfortable in doing something like this having someone there to guide me through it and lend a hand.
