Does anyone know if an X14xe should have valve stem seals fitted? I just stripped my head and found no seals!!

there will be seals there!
theres no way your engine would have run properly without them.

Im tellin ya now there was no seals there, but that accounts for the loss of oil ive had for the last two years. Do all 16 valves have a seal or is it just one side?

if there was no seals then oil would hav =e literally poured into the cylinder. engine wouldnt run for more than a few miles without completely dying!

I can't see how an engine can run without the valve stem seals! If it's possible it will probably burn as much oil as petrol :-/
The valve stem seals are located beneath the spring...but you probably already know this?

at having no seals
if there were no seals it would burn a **** load ov oil, ive had 1 come off and that smoked like a gud un let alone 16
