Could you post pics of your setup please?

Where do you put your media boxes (Sky Box / Blu Ray / Playstation / Xbox etc)

Are there any decent slimline units? Don't want something massive, any that go directly underneath? Does standard trunking make the whole thing look shit?

It's for a bedroom, so not that bothered about making it look amazing. The lounge has a TV stand, and happy with it like that.

Thanks for any help

Mine in living room, everything is in a cabinet to the side and using a IR stealth kit to pass signal into the cupboard.

Only needs a 4mm x 4mm IR eye on TV rest is hidden and wired to IR on sky etc.

Got mine in a cupboard behind the TV, I'll get pictures next week when my broadband is finally activated.

IR kit as above, doesn't work properly though after I've moved everything

Cables are in trunking in the wall and media centre and dvd player etc... in the cabinet in the bottom right.

And in the lounge, False / floating wall built and all cables fun down behind and a service hatch at the bottom.

Yeah rope light, not the LED stuff though as there too bright and a white light

Doesnt come out to well in that photo plus its daylight and the lounge lights are on.

Better picture before the wall was finished

used to be like this with floating shelves that clip into the vertical silver bit:

now like this with media boxes in the TV cabinet bit. wasn't keen on the shelves.

just need to re-route the sky and garage light cables.

Nismo is that black unit in the bottom pic from Ikea...

http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/20105341

I was going to buy that this week but thought it would be too low, it actually looks really good, might opt for that now over this...

Would save me a lot of money too
