Is there an untethered jailbreak available for the iphone 4 on os4.3.3 ?
Tethered jailbreak is no use as I have to switch my phone off for travelling offshore, so on arriving back onshore id be left with a brick until I got to a computer
Also a newbie question, does it remove your data such as photos, contacts and apps already purchased and can you get these back via itunes once its jailbroken or will this restore it and remove the jailbreak?
I restored it and went to jailbreak using redsn0w but then itunes was asking if I wanted to restore my phone from a back up file and this wasnt mentioned in the tutorial so wasnt sure and decided to leave it till I can confirm what to do and also if there is an untethered for 4.3.3

most people tend to use redsn0w but this is little easier imo

see my post in This Thread
If you have 4.3.3 installed then no need to restore.
Simply download the IPSW manually, run redsn0w, point it to the IPSW and just tick the Cydia installation (default value anyway).
Specific instructions in the link.
