I'm currently in the process of opening a little shop for my agency and really want some of these in the window rather than the usual ones but they're proving pretty pricey! Does anyone know how i'd go about retrofitting some A4 led panels to the back of some normal A4 acrylics and where to get the panels from? I can get a load of the acrylics easily, just not the light panels

Or could using UV light focussed on them work instead of being backlit??

Loads of stuff here.

I personally think that image posted looks a bit tacky.

I'd go for an unlit version and point some pin spots etc onto them

i know but it'd be a damn site cheaper and may make them glow a bit!

Exactly, just so bloody expensive! Standard non lit are about £100 for 12, back lit is around £1k

I walked past a place in London with hanging LED lights and they looked really nice.

You could have them mixed with standard glass A4 panels.

I can't find a pic but Radiohead's stage lighting is similar:

or like these, but all spaced out evenly:

It's only a couple of small-ish windows though so a combination may look shit/cheapo. Managed to get a quote for the light boxes alone - £55 per unit, not as bad but still pricey.
