I think i am now Jail broken.

Did the Greenpois0n thing and then loaded Cydia.

Where do i go for the free apps??

Go to Cydia > Manage > Sources > Edit > Add > http://cydia.hackulo.us > let it add the source > click on Hackulo.us and install Installous

You can't, the newest update is 4.3.3 (unless you faff around with ipsw files).
