Right I have looked at various threads and websites/forums and nothing is clear on the x12xe to c20xe conversion.

I have connected all the wires for the engine so i turned key to get ignition lights and i have nothing at all

I have some plugs that im unsure if they should be connected to anything.
Also don’t have a plug on the wiring loom for idle control valve

Pictures below

This plug is in engine bay under battery tray

This comes of engine loom 20xe at the end off fuel rail near battery

Underneath car were loom goes through bulkhead

Idle control i have no plug to connect to this

All help appreciated

On the idle control valve there should be a wire that goes to it that comes off the XE loom by the edge of the rocker cover, well at least that is where mine comes out. we had no lights when we turned mine on and it turned out the switched live wire wasn't connected that could be one of your issues? Is it definately nothing coming on or is it just the lights? you should be able to hear the fuel pump priming otherwise?

Had it turning over couldnt hear pump priming either

will have a good look in daylight tomorrow

Do you have power as in interior light etc? as they share the same fuse.

Also c20xe fuel pump primes when you crank, are you getting fuel at the rail?

The Fuel pump relay might not be clicking in, you should be able to hear it click when you put the ignition on

Have power now in car was 10 last night when I got it cranking will have a play with it tonite
