just with 2 ppl local to me snapping theres in last 2 weeks i think id like to get some stronger ones ?????

nout special but enough to snap the bolts out of the rubber mount
pretty standard 1.6 here...

Geordie_corsa's will be canny beastly though

Harry hockly motorsport do a nice bit of kit or theres vibra technics

dunno about Metta as his broke aswell but mine was a GM one with 99 on it so i presume its a 1999 mount as thats what the car is

fook!

if you could just upgrade the two bolts thats in it it'd be better and simple enough to strengthen the rubber with old exhaust hangers and sealer or summit

this is were mine went bud



one of them bolts is kind of mated to the metal though so would be hard to change it if you know what i mean. snapped clean off in the middle of the mated bolt and the other just died lol

rubber was pretty worn like

Hardest part would be sourcing the bolts with a proper thread depth and a shaft suitable for peening

this has been playing on my mind loads the past few days...

if you drilled out were the bolts are (not going anywhere near the edge), made some sort of thick plates for the top and bottom, drilled them to match up with it and used much stronger/thicker bolts (obv longer too) could you not make this a stronger mount without spending daft ££
probs just my imagination running away with itself but...
