Changing engine soon so thought I might put the battery in the boot to make it look abut cleaner. How would I go about it? Obviously extend the wires, is there any special wire I need? & where can I buy it from?

Just thick cable. Can use BMW ones if you can get hold of it as some of them have their battery in the boot.
You can use audio cable or welder cable. There the same thing but you can get hold of the welder stuff cheaper.
I think you need atleast 2AWG for it but 0AWG would be better.
Then you need a distribution block, can get these from halfords, its to join all the cables up in the engine bay.
Also need a way of holding the battery in place, can get battery boxes for this and then its just earthing it all. Which im sure you know goes from the battery to a metal part of the car. This cable should be the same size as the positive.

Also an inline fuse and a way of disconnecting the cable from inside the car would probably be a good idea as well.
