Guys,
Are any of you experienced in Hackintosh building?
If I posted a list of my PC components would anyone be able to tell me if I could do it? Or even come help me do it
Also, is it possible to dual boot? I would be happy to buy another hard drive so the system is on its drive and not interfering with a Windows install!
Cheers.

Dual Boot is possible.
As to whether your system will be good enough just comes down to seeing if the drivers are out there
Been running my office machine as a mackintosh for the last couple years without too many problems.

Processor: E8200 Dual Core (OC'd)
Mobo: ASUS P5K-E
GFX: GTX260
Would you need to know about other parts?

Have a look on the Osx86 wiki (http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page), if not there look on the InsanelyMac forums (www.insanelymac.com/forum/), and see if everything is compatible. But from memory the Asus P5K (not sure about the -E) is well supported and there are a few guides around for the GTX260 (http://osx86.co/f36/guide-geforce-gtx-260-in-snow-leopard-t4057/).
Best bet is to get on the InsanelyMac forums and have a nose around. I'd also go down the route of using a retail disc (it's only £30 or so but obviously you can get hold of it) and personally i'd stick with Snow Leopard.

Ok it looks like that my hardware is fairly well supported.
I assume you are not in the Midlands, Dom? I wouldn't mind covering costs for someone to come and give me a hand getting it up and running

I'm not, but there appears to be plenty of guides for the P5k on the Insanely forums (http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showforum=178) and to be honest it isn't that difficult, although chances are it'll be a bit of trial and error with getting kexts to play nicely.
