i have taken the seat belt clip thing out of the back of my car, whilst doing this i stripped the head T50

can i just replace it with any bolt with the same thread? or is it a special bolt?

It's a fine thread, you might not find it with a normal bolt. Is this on the Astra?

as Ian said bolts like that are normally fine thread, either drill/tap it to a larger thread or find a good fastners place and they should do them, they are normally 1mm instead of 1.5mm pitch
