I've just bought my mrs a 1.4 corsa sport and as soon as you fire it up (after it hasn't been started for I'd say about 5/6 hours) the fan kicks in straight away.I don't get it because obviously the fans to keep it cool,so if it's already cold why's the fan kicking in straight away? Any help will be much appreciated

has it not been wired in to stay on constantly? any dodgy looking wires anywhere in the bay??
if not try temp sensor in the side of the thermostat or the fan switch down the side of the radiator
hope that helps

My old Sport did the same, never did work out why sorry. I tried new switch, and all sorts in the end I just unplugged it, if I knew I wasn't going to get stuck in traffic. Good thing about living in the country.
