Have you looked on the gearbox, should be stamped on near the selector mechanism on the box

Ive looked, but theres nothing like that there. Plenty of little numbers, but not a single f10, f13, c or w in sight

Probably covered in thick dirt and grime or something? It should be there.

Most corsa boxes don't have it, Early ones will but later ones certainly don't on F13s/15s, you can find it via the part number but not simple as the casing is the same.

However, What engine do you have, Will be able to tell that way. The final drive and if its close or wide ration can be found elsewhere IF you need this.

My car was a funny one. Originally a 1.2 8v with a vin thats from 95 and 96, has no pas, aircon, abs or anything fancy like that, but has dual airbags.

Yes, particularly interested in the ratio. Want to make a close ratio box with 4.18 final drive

Would it be easy enough just to whip the bottom plate off and count the crown teeth? If it doesnt have 71, its close ratio. Correct?
