hi all, just need some advice really, i have a corsa redtop and recently had abit of a bump in it, i found out that i had bend the ball joint and got that replaced. the i replaced both wishbones whilst i was there just for peace of mind. some little bas***ds thought it would be funny to pull the driveshaft out whilst i was having a quick cuppa!! lucky i caught them!, i pushed the driveshaft back in and twisted it and it wont go right in, ive looked at the haynes guide and i noticed that the tiny circlip at the end of the driveshaft looks like it needs replacing?? does this sound right? also where would i go about buying one of theese? any comment and help more than welcome! many thanks people

tried giving it a wack?
Normally those clips mean the shaft wont come out, rather than not go in.

Depends really, I've struggled like fuck in the past and other times its just slipped in with a nudge.
The clip should hang out slightly, It should be just a bit bigger than the CV. Should push so its same size as it to get it in. Yours might be damaged, If it is its normal to just bend it right again. Don't think you can buy them on their own, only as part of a CV.

have you lubed it up? try twisting it then pushing it in, it can take a lot of force or then again it will just 'pop' in. just have another go when you have had a fresh look.
