hey guys, wondering if you could help
whenever i drive my car after about a minute or so the eml comes on for a while and then will go off for abit. i have had the car on a diagonstic machine and nothing showed up. the car has done 133,000 miles and was told by a mechanic that the big end bearings have went and this is causing the crank to move so therefore the crank sensor would be causing the engine management light to come on.
could be this be there case?
i dont want to rebuild the engine unless i really have to.
hopefully you guys can help
cheers

I don't think that sounds very accurate mate to be honest.
Check the air flow meter and wiring to it and your lambda sensor. These can all put the eml light on intermittently mate.
