At the moment we have two laptops and my PC, and for each computer there is a printer. Ideally what we would like is just one wireless printer to save having 3 separate ones, but the only thing making me keep mine is the ability to print onto CDs with the white top. If there is a wireless printer that can do CDs then we can get rid of all the ones we have and just use that, but it's hard to find any that to CDs at all.
I'm not too bothered about brand as long as it's easy enough to use, good quality prints, reliable, and ink isn't extortionate.
Anyone know of anything that would fit the bill? Cheers.

Any printer can be wireless, you just need to buy a 802.11 to usb box.

Most companies make something of the same sort.
I would look at wired connections to the printers as high res pictures will take much longer to spool over wireless link.
But if time isnt an issue, wireless would do the job, other options are to share the printer from each client that way any person can print to any device.

Directly onto CDs. I've got a big pot of CDs with the white printable top so would like to be able to print still if we changed the printer

I've got it set up at the moment so that the printers are all shared, but obviously the PC it's connected to needs to be turned on for it to work.
Time isn't really a problem I don't think, 90% of what we print is text.

The problem with what Chris suggests (USB to LAN box) is that the software for the printers don't work properly with such solutions.
They are fine if all you want to do is print, but if you need to get any info off the printer (i.e. for scanning, ink levels, etc.) then it won't work.
I think you would have to look at getting a LAN/wireless enabled printer to do what you want rather than spending money on gadgets that make it only half work IMO.

The Canon Pixma MG5250 seems to do what we want and Currys/PC World have it for £80. Sounds pretty good to me
