just wondering about the three pipes, on mine iv got the clip on/off type for the big pipe but im going to swap that over with the threaded one in the standard inlet, thing im not too sure on is the other two are different to each other...
is that normal or do i need to get another one for the 6mm pipe iv ordered?

Just been outside and took some of mine for you Jed This is how mine are set up -
- Brake servo pipe connected by the threaded connector as you said
- The medium sized take off is connected to the fuel tank vent valve only
- The small take off is T pieced and connected to the fuel pressure regulator and the MAF sensor
- Rocker cover breather is venting to the atmosphere

Your's isn't right though shaun, That rocker vacuum should be connected to make the breather system actually work.
I'd prefer to have both of them T'ed, Giving the MAP (Not MAF) and the fuel pressure reg the best feeds, they are the most important. The fuel tank vent valve and the rocker cover aren't as important to the running of your engine.

Well it doesn't does it, It smokes
Besides, the breather system needs something to draw it up.
Its meant to be connected up, Just because yours is like that don't mean nothing, Theres other stuff on yours that isn't right.

The way you keep banging on thats how it comes across. Stop nit picking at other peoples cars and being a know it all when your own cars far from perfect

I know how should be, so that makes me a know it all? :/
I know my car isn't perfect and its shit, Never denied it.
The point of this was to tell Jed how to do it properly and how it should be.

Smoking won't be helped by the breather system not being plumbed up correctly.

breather connected
im guessing that one of the two little connectors on the box should be smaller than the other then?
and iv ordered a metre of 5mm silicone pipe and a metre of 6mm aswell
also that £25 pipe from the air box will be ordered tomorrow Shaun

Connect it up as I said.
The bigger breather that went to the black intake pipe wants to go into a catch tank with a filter. Don't just use a filter on the end as they fill up and get blocked which will also fuckup the engine.

only thing i havent bought is a oil breather although i did invest in my first ever can on monster the other day... expensive energy drink but cheap oil catch tank i suppose
just to confirm that the second pic i just posted is the rite way to do the top piping and that the hole bits that go into the box are all meant to be different sizes yes?

They are diff sizes due to there being two sizes on the things pipes go onto.
That pic is close enough yes, I would make it a bit tidier though.
