Seems a good deal, even if the saving isn't as big as they quote i.e. not worth that much in the first place.

The Playbook is severely limited due to them using their own operating system as opposed to Android or iOS (which they can't anyway).
I'd go with the Android, same spec apart from the processor which at first glance I'd say is better anyway.

Android market opens for BB next year, apparently. New deals everyday on these tablets. The HTC is cheaper already.

Oh that's 7" too. Is there much point in these? The 10" ones are still a little on the small side, the 7" seem to fill a gap between smart phones and tablets that really doesn't need filling.

Thats why I'm not going to take a punt. My phone is already 4.65" and if I'm going to get a tablet I might as well do it properly.

Play book is fantastic. That's a fucking steal too.
Qnx is far more user friendly than android and has an android app emulator so you can have any app anyway.
Shame it bombed feels like a high quality product much like the iPad. Still I wouldn't have one over mynipad.

Had a look at one of these in currys yesterday, useless if you have a half decent phone, not much bigger and not as good as ios/android.

I picked one up in cpw, couldn't work out how to use it for shit. Spent a minute or 2 trying to get off the screen it was on and nothing happened.

It was supposed to open up this year.. I dont think it will ever happy and I also reckon the play book will go the same way as the HP TouchPad.

You have to swipe from off the screen.. The gestures are actually reall user friendly when you work out what they are.. Its a shame as its a nice piece of hardware just a shit OS

Its a bit messed up, you have to start your swipes from OFF the screen.... I does feel quite natural.
