Lately I've noticed on my car that sometimes when I remove my key (after turning the engine off) the ignition barrel doesn't "click" when I take the key out - and I'm pretty sure doesn't let me lock the steering wheel if you see what I mean.
What would be the cause/fix for this problem?

Will try that, thanks.
If that doesn't work though, how easy/much would it be to replace the barrel?

The barrel is an easy swap, will need one with matching key obviously and will need to swap over transponders in the key.

Would I need to go to Ford to get one that works with my existing keys? I don't really fancy having to change the locks on the doors and boot, or having a third key just to start the engine lol
