what you using as budgets?
as alex w said grippy ones tend not to last long and vise versor.
i have budget sunnys on the back at the moment (also on the hunt for x4) and have had them a few times before... they last for fucking ages but grip is shocking 
KU31's is my next I THINK. had them before and swear they are a perfect balance... good grip and lasted for long enough
