According to a room size calculator I need a radiator that is 1.5m long. (double sided)

My question is does a 1m radiator on one wall and a 0.5m radiator on another wall equal the above?

We have a strange shaped room with a large bay window and splitting the radiatros will mean it dosent need to go on the only long wall in the room as this will then be behind the sofa

You sure it's given you a physical radiator size?

It should give you required BTU or KWh, which can be had in a multitude of sizes.

As John says it all goes on BTU calculation for a room, then you can choose which type:

Single panel, single convector
Double panel, single convector
Double panel, double convector

and then the length / size you require.

You can use 2 radiators instead yes.

2 that equal the reuired BTU that is, not 2 of certain dimensions.

Also remember that where you put the radiator affects how well it will work.

And i would say 2 would mean more water pumping around thus more time to reach required BTU (maybe)??

Would try get double panel twin convector rads, can end uP wIth a smaller rad this way.

Also prob wouldn't touch that vertical rad pros less than 1kw they are seriously crap!
Distance away from a manifold shouldn't really matter as long as you have a decent pump and the system Is clear and not full of corrosion
