Springs touching is common, seen it loads of times, not actually a problem. Whats actually banging though? Could be your exhaust banging of the axle.

im not sure about the shocks/springs banging but my exhaust used to wack on the rear beam, so when i got my new exhaust i did this...

cut a small peice of tyre where it used to hit and turned the bracket the opposite way so the bolts where at the top leaving more room between the exhaust and the beam. i had new exhaust hangers to

doesnt knock at all anymore, even with a full car sorry i couldnt help with the springs though :/

I had the exhaust all twisted up and then jubilee clipped the exhaust hanger rubbers to pull it up out the way. does the job but had to shorted the exit pipe to get it out the way. now a stealthy exhaust too which makes me happy

i also cut the pipe off my back box, rotated it a bit and welded it back on... gave me a fair bit more clearance
