I've made a thread about this before but now I'm actually going ahead with it and want abit more info. I've checked insurance and happy with the price so no probs there and I'm picking the engine up Thursday.
Couple of questions:
-What mount will I need? Is it the mount everyone uses for redtops ect?
- Will I need anything else apart from loom, ecu, mount, exhaust, transponder, key (most of that is coming with the engine I'm getting)

should be able to use the same engine mount you''ve already got on the 1.2 8v.. i used the same mount on my 1600 16v conversion. Think thats all you need for the conversion.. you got the cat/de cat along with the manifold?

Nup just engine loom is all you need, simply plug and play then your off... You'll also need the fuel adapters from a 1.0/1.4/1.6 or 1.2 16v... The fuel lines bolt to the fuel rail.. Just unbolt them from other car, then cut them off old car but cut them quite far leaving a fair bit of the fuel line, then slide them into the 1.2 8v fuel lines and put jubilee clip on to secure them if it makes sense?
