Hello

ive took my bumpers off and given underneath a quick wash etc i wanna hammerite them the same colour as car but whats best to make them not rust again etc

grind surface rust off then what would be next best thing to do? Primer then hammerite or? Some sort of rust primer? Not to clued up Anyone done anything same?

Any help much appreciated

i use a rust treatment on the rust areas then i use primer them the colour i want the laquer make sure u under seal and rust treat under side or will rot again

Under side is mint! Has been sanded primed and hammerited etc its just under the bumpers i wanna no about so you just spray rust treatment on and then prime and paint on top?

yea buddy the rust treatment just helps to stop it coming back so quickly

treat the rust and use etch or red oxide primer before hammerite or paint
