I have an corsa b sri 8v and recently have had a K&N induction kit on it - now its seems to have a bit of a flat spot when accelerating could this be happening when they are supposed to overcome flatspots?
oh and i have a back box on 4"

yes munchie is right, disconnect the battery for an hour, (u only have to d/connect the positive) over night would be best...when u re-connect turn the ignition and leave the car idle for 20 seconds or so, it should cough and splutter a bit (thats the settings recalibrating) and job done.
someone correct me if im wrong plz

CopyWrite is right. See my post in the tutorial section.
A little bit of very important advise is:
When you start the engine back up after the battery has been reconnected leave the car alone for 20 seconds as CopyWrite said, when the power returns to the ECU it then re-calibrates itself, if you rev the engine whilst it is recalibrating then you will get an incorrect calibration.
As CopyWrite said the car will sound aweful and splutter a little when you first kick it up but after 20 seconds or so it will then sound healthy again and you will be able to drive as normal.
Try to take the car out on a run that you would normally take, an average route where you wont nail it along so that the ECU cabn calibrate better to your style of driving to begin with.

Yes you would. I had to do it for mine when I put my induction kit on.
BTW mine is a 1.2 8V. Fastest 1.2 8V around LOL.

yeah same here i put an K&N Induction kit on and lastnight i disconected the positive. I recconeceted it and turn on the engine i left it for a minute or so and it sounded ok straight away. Maybe i should have left it longer. I did rev it but way after 2 mins and it almost seemed to want to stall but it wan in neutral. I will see today when i drive if not i will do it again 2nite.
