Decided i wanted to get involved with Metal Gear Solid again, since its truly awesome.

Played through the first one yesterday and got the HD collection ordered so i can play through 2 and 3 again.

Was kinda weird playing a game that i'd not seen in 10 years!

Better than Doom imho.
Was another one from back in the day called Rise Of The Triads. Really good game, better graphics than Doom and Wolfenstein.

Remember that, though it did come after the others so you'd expect it to be better. Was several disks iirc

I know, i remember running around with the golden gun againt mates on the level with the room with the big gas tanks in and laying loads of proximity mines and thinking does life get better than this!

Put it back on and was shocked how bad the graphic were.

Quite impressive graphic now days tho.

The achievements on that game are solid. I managed to do them back in the day, but when I tried again a while back I found them almost impossible
