how much roughly to replace the windscreen on my corsa? the excess on my insurance is £25 for repair or £80 for replacement. hate excess's feels like paying twice for insurance. thanks

i know this is not really a comparison but i had to pay £250 to Autoglass to get my 205 one replaced insurance didn't cover it at the time. Lesson learnt!
have a shop around though but im pretty sure it'll be more expensive than going through insurance

Yes insurance covers any cost provided it goes through there recomended company. Just complaining about the excess really as thats what insurance is for. Il get on the phone to them tomorow

You can pick a 2nd hand screen up from a Scrappy for cheap, but then you have to worry about getting it off the old motor in one piece etc etc.
Go thru your insurence, save yourself time & effort, also if anything goes wrong with it after its fitted, if its someone like Autoglass they will give you a warrenty on the glass

Gone through insurance theyre coming on monday. £80.
Its got a 3 inch crack on passenger side, is it still ok to drive?
