Been using a scooter as a everyday commouter and last week my scooter broke down after work, got about 200m from work then cut out as if you turn the ignition off. Tryed to start it and i wouldnt start so pushed it back to work and left it for 20 mins then it fired back into life
last night again after work i was riding it and it has done the same, incase it done it again i took a few tools and a spare plug with me just incase. Pulled the ht lead of and put the spare plug onto it and it has a very week spark and also its sparking then not sparking, so with the plug sparking i put the lead back onto the plug on the head and it fires up for for a few seconds then just dies then wont start again. Today when to it during my break and it started fine, so when i finished i whent back to it when it was pissing of rain and no fucking spark again, im thinking of spraying everything down with wd40 to see if that helps
Anyone got any idea of what else it could be?

Put new plug in it. Make sure coil wire is not lose or connectors that plug into cdi unit if that don't work then change magneto
