I'm installing a new PC for one of my customers and have got them another copy of Office 2010. They have retail versions already but I got them a PKC (product key card) version of the one they wanted as it worked out about £20 cheaper.
Can I use one of their DVDs to install this PKC version (using the product key from the one I got them)?

Yep.... As long as it's completely the same version.

Are the Office DVDs not a single install then (i.e. key activates version)?

90% sure they're not a single. Even if it is you can change licencing anyway?
