im wondering how difficult a job is painting the rocker cover and what type of paint should i use ?

it's not a hard job just make sure you get it very clean (ie all the oil off it!) or the paint won't take. then remove any loose paint, then key/sand it all down, etch prime bare metal, then depending on the finish a filler primer and more sanding or just paint.

normal paint will be fine, just remember when the engines hot the paint may soften little so don't lean on the rocker cover after a run!
