When i flick on the indicators it flashes like 10x faster than it should. Mate said it could be a bulb gone or relay? Checked all the bulbs and they all work fine so what could it be? Started after i fitted new Electric Dials but ive since put the Standards back in......

What direction should i be looking at to fix it?

It's indication(lol) of a fuse I believe.

dodgy connection somewhere, mine did it when one of the rear lights wasn't connected properly and caused the brake and indicator to come on together, unplugging and replugging cured mine

Having a indicator bulb out can cause this, happened to me couple months ago so put your indicators on and walk round the car checking to see if they are all working.

Could be a relay. I had an indicator problem in my Escort and it was a relay.

Checked the Bulbs, Theyre all working fine and unplugged the rear lights then plugged them back in and it still does it. Hazards work normal its just When i signal left of right they flash at a rapid speed. And they did that LED bulbs bit i put the clear taillights in with normal coloured bulbs. Only started happening after i fitted GSI Dials but ive taken those out and put My standard ones back in.... Hmmmmmmmm

Indicators flashing faster is normally a sign of an indicator bulb which has blown.

i had this sort of problem i changed the stalk that didnt work changed the relay still no joy so i changed the hazard switch and bobs your uncle it worked
