Looking to get one for my mum for christmas and settled on the tab 2. Was looking at it on amazon and for some reason they show pics of some landscape and some portrait? (not talking about the screen, im meanging the camera and samsung writing)
Anyone got one and how do they find it and what is the standard orientation? Currys seem to just show them landscape
Or any other reccomendations, had no experiences with tablets before

I also want to know how all the Android based 10" tabs differ e.g. the Tab 2 vs Nexus 10.

Nexus 10 is direct from Google, so will get the updates quicker. It has a much better display (2560x1600 299ppi vs 1280x800 149ppi). Fastest processor and double RAM - will be smoother and generally quicker at loading websites, apps, etc. Bigger battery = last longer. Bluetooth 3.0, dual band wireless N.
Generally just better, only £319 as well.
EDIT: Just seen it's only about £200 though, can't really complain at the spec / size it is. I'd personally opt for the Nexus 10 if you can manage to get it, depends on your budget though.
