are they the same and which crank is better 8v one or 16v one

My mate was on about this earlier. He said 16v crank is better (am not to sure). But blocks r simaliar u make one of the 8v block oil ways in to a breather way (if u get me)

If u use a 8v block. An a c20xe head u will need a breather port. Because they r make different. To keep it simple use the right head a block together

I used a 8v crank in a xe because I wanted to use a f13 box lol exactly same it was a xe block an head and pistons with conrods just 8v crank all fitted fine etc

8v block is the same as 16valve

Was also told the later the xe block the better as there is extra webbing for more strength.
