I had a 4Gamers CP-Pro, sound quality was ok the mic was crap though and the ear cups were too small, after one 20 minute round of BF3 they started to become irritating and uncomfortable, looking to spend around £80, what are my options?

What about Turtle Beach PX21's?
Could also look at getting some Tritton AX720's?
Had both of these and can't fault either. Prefer the trittons as they feel better and come with leather and sponge pads for yours ears.
Edit: 720's are abit over your price range. Would recommend PX21's though!

AX Pros are Dolby 5.1, where as 720's are 7.1. I think the 720's are discontinued and have been replaced by Ax720+. Pretty sure you can still pick some up cheap on ebay!
Im selling my pair of these if you're interested, they're on ebay atm for only £40. http://www.trittonaudio.com/prod/bopsps3.asp

Also - I don't think you have to spend anywhere near £80. A lower model than the Px21's are the Turtle Beach P11's.

My dad has some and he loves them. They only cost him like £25 from ebay brand new.

Are they good then? Would prefer wireless like the pulse and at that price there's not much about

Very good, specially playing BF3 you will hear people before you even see them. I just wish id bought them a year ago when i started playing because i wouldnt have go knifed half as much. They go REALLY loud and you can turn the virtual surround sound on or off as you please. Use them for watching blu-rays and on your PC aswell.

I bought some Turtle Beach (PX21 i think) second hand off ebay for £17, have them at half volume if that, can't see why you'd need to spend anymore tbh.

It was more the ear cup size than anything, want them quite big, what are yours like? £17 sounds good...

Anyone tell me if the px21 have microphone monitoring? Keep seeing this pop up on turtle beach headphones, "lets you hear what your saying while your speaking" annoying that! I know what I'm saying I've just said it.

My px5s have that but you can turn it off. I presume its the same for all TB headsets.

I find it really handy tbh.. Makes everything feel much more natural instead of hearing yourself sounding like you're talking under water..
