Ps1 no. But you can download quite a few.
Ps2 can be played on early ps3s.

I thought all models of the PS3 can play PS1 games, but only the original PS3s can play PS2 games?

Mines the promotional ps3 with the sd card etc slots under the flap. It does play ps1/2/3 games. But ps1/2 games are region locked.

My favourite trick was with the GTA 1 (PS1) disc put into my stereo, it played all the tracks and sound effects.

Remove the board under the grill 20 secs both side, back together works

Did it to mine, you will need new thermal paste for the processors 3 quidish ebay

Got my colin mcrae 3 ps2 yesterday. Was playing it most of lastnite and they dont make games like that anymore!! Well happy with it for £3
