Anyway Im aiming to get the Corsa done by march for Santa pod but will only be needing the Corsa for pod for the weekend im looking to get the temp cover on it so I can drive it but I'm going to have to tax it but am I right in thinking that if a car is taxed it must be insured legally so how can i get around not having to pay out loads of money getting it insured and tax but I'm only going to use it for one weekend lol

Don't think there's a way round it!, Instead of the Celica, you should of got a Camry

this will tow a car trailer with the Corsa on!

Trailer's £40 hire for a day

I'm in the same boat as you mate! Not sure what I'm going to do insurance wise with mine this year either.

If you do temp cover it you would just have to take the tax straight back off it once the insurance runs out. Right pain in the arse this new law

You can tax on temp cover mate. I did it with mine in December. Only insured it for a day to drive to mot, passed mot then went and taxes it. It was with aviva through tempcover.co.uk,and it did say on the certificate (received via email, printed out) that it can be used to tax but is upto person doing the taxing. If your asking if it can be taxed on temp cover
