Just won that, any way to fix it? At that price I'm not fussed about sticking a new hdd in it but was hoping someone might know a software trick

What the hell is an "encryption error on the system"?

Anyway, taking one of these apart looks a bit brutal.

I've had a few apart, don't have a problem with that tbh. I'd rather save £40 and get it working as it is so its a proper bargain

It's really unlikely to be anything else, based on taking some songs and throwing up an error.
