Didn't even know it could still be this slow?!
Any advise on what I can do?
Locked into a virgin contract but moved house no now only have standard BB supplied by them instead of fibre optic.
Obviously coming from 35MBps to this is killer,
Can get bt Infiniti in 5 months but any advise in the meantime would be great.

Can you not get a 3g connection for few months? Dont know if this is practical or not? That cant be fibre optic surely? Im sure you can get out your contract aswell because of it been so poor

No virgin cannot supply fibre here apparently but bt can.
3G isn't really practical would go over the monthly allowances etc.

That's really bad. Have you tried plugging your router directly into your test socket to see if there's a problem with the line or internal wiring?

Go onto plusnet and go thru an order they will give you a estimated speed u can get if its massivley different to what your getting get onto the phone and complain shud send an engineer out

If they have one, go on to the Virgin forum, complain there, as it's public they are more like to do something about it.

Least they can do it explain why it's so slow if the're unable to fix it right away.
