Now that we have two machines in the house hold running USB 3.0 it is time to replace the older external HDD which is mains powered and a bit slow.

I was looking at buying something like this:

However it says that the operating system requirements are:
Operating Systems: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Mac OS X (10.5 or newer)

I am on Windows 8 and dad is on Windows 7.

Am I just being daft for asking or will this work with my Windows 8 machine?

Yeah I Googled it after posting and all seems to be ok.
