As I'm about to reveal, I am a bit of a techno noob.

Basically, I have a iphone 4s with unlimited internet (3G) and I'm buying my fiancée an iPad mini wifi version (non sim-card version) for her birthday. My question is; is there any way she can connect her ipad to my unlimited phone 3G either via a cable/lead or via wifi wizardry?

If so, what lead would I require?

There is a tethering option in settings but I've yet to find out whether you have to pay extra for it

I also have unlimited Internet on EE

Personal hotspot it's called

I've used the personal hotspot on mine a few times hooked up to my laptop, using EE unlimited Internet, never had any extra charges, turn personal hotspot on, it gives you the wireless key, search from the iPad wifi for the hotspot et voila job done

personal hotspot is network enabled, so if you have it you cna use it.
