Hi,

I'm wondering how I can increase the number of ethernet ports in my girlfriends parents spare bedroom so things are running via ethernet rather than wifi as signal isn't so great in the house.

Don't really want to have 3+ powerlines as i'll need a massive extension cable, is there any sort of method of attaching a network extension and it running through the powerline I've got already?

Cheers

How does this connect to the router that's downstairs? Just plus into the powerline in the spare room?

£12.50 is a lot cheaper than I thought the solution was going to be

Or you can just replace 1 of your homeplugs to one with multiple ethernet ports.

The ethernet cable goes out of the powerline into the switch Munchie linked. Then all your other devices plug into the switch.

I did the following.

Installed homelink plug (500mb one, Tp Link) in the hallway where the router is
Installed other homelink plug in our extension
Installed the switch and added ethernet cables to my TV, Sky box, AMP and Raspberry Pi.

All controlled through my tablet or mobile phone

Love it
