Recently i bought a new car, its a 5 door 2000 vauxhall corsa b with a 1.2 16v petrol engine. Its got central locking, electric mirrors, electric windows and a sunroof. It also has a decal on the door that says swing, however whenever i rang a few insurance companies for a quote they asked what the exact model is, i told them its a swing and they said it can't be due to them only having the swing up until 96 or 97 i can't remember which. Would anyone know what model this car is?

Comes back as an Opel with no model information, 1200 petrol 5 door.

Doesn't even indicate its a Corsa on the parts database.

I need to know the exact model mate as my insurance wants to know, I don't want them using it as an excuse to windle themselves out of a claim should one arise. If i rang vauxhall with the vin number would they be able to tell me?

Ok guys, just done an online quote and found the insurance company wouldn't insure me if i put down i had a 2000 opel 1.2 corsa but would if i put down a 2000 vauxhall corsa 1.2? What the hell?

I've done abit of searching and the seats in the car are that of a CDX model corsa? Would i be right in thinking that the uk cdx model is equivalent to that of a euro swing model?

If it hasn't gotmAC it's not a CDX. Try a local Vaux dealer
