Right, ive bought that big 1.9CDTi veccy estate as my workhorse / semi project. Its done 70K odd miles and the gear selection feels a bit sloppy, its not like stirring soup, but it could by doing witha freshening up.

Can you get a gear slector bush kit? or somthing along those lines?

Every vectra I've had the gears been dead Notchy and not much feeling?

Are they not cable linkage on the vectra? If so try adjusting the cables at the gear stick end
